PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
SID 1403 Gleneagles Boulevard, will construct improvements on Gleneagles Boulevard and Lake Hills Drive within Lake Hills Subdivision. These improvements generally consist of water, sanitary sewer, storm drain, curb and gutter, and street improvements.
Mayor and Council are asked to consider authorizing and executing a Contract for Professional Services with Performance Engineering and Consulting to provide engineering design and construction administration for SID 1403. The contract is in the amount of $145,137. Performance Engineering and Consulting was selected based on proposals requested from a list of prequalified consultants for this type of work. Other firms considered were Sanderson Stewart and Territorial Landworks.

ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
City Council may:
- Approve the professional services contract with Performance Engineering and Consulting, or;
- Disapprove the professional services contract with Performance Engineering and Consulting. If not approved, another option will have to be considered for design and construction administration for SID 1403.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The professional services contract with Performance Engineering and Consulting is for $145,137 and will be paid out of the SID funds.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council approve the professional services contract with Performance Engineering and Consulting for SID 1403 for $145,137.
