PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
On September 12, 2016, the City Council created SID 1401 - Molt Road Turn Lane Improvements. SID 1401 will widen Molt Road between approximately 62nd Street West and Masters Boulevard to install a northbound auxiliary left-turn lane on Molt Road at Masters Boulevard. The invitation for bids was advertised in The Yellowstone County News and on the City's website on February 16th and February 23rd, 2018. Staff opened bids for the project on February 27th, 2018. CMG Construction, LLC submitted the lowest responsible bid.
ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
The Council may:
- Award SID 1401 construction contract to CMG Construction, LLC in the amount of $208,300.00; or
- Not award the contract to CMG Construction, LLC and reject all bids. If the contract is not awarded, the Molt Road turn lane improvements will not be constructed.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The following bids were received and evaluated for SID 1401.
