Northwestern Energy is requesting an easement across Terry park. The easement would be used to supply a new three phase power line to the Fire Station #4 on the northwest corner of the park. The line will be bored under the park and a two inch Poly sleave would be installed. Attachments include the easement, maps and plans and the utility location policy adopted by the City Council.

City Council may:

• Approve the requested utility easement within the parkland or;
• Disapprove the easement and provide staff with additional direction.

Northwestern Energy agrees to take all necessary precautions to protect existing infrastructure. Any and all damage shall be repaired at Northwestern Energy's expense to the satisfaction of PRPL. There will be no financial impact to the City.

Staff recommends that the City Council approve the utility easement across Terry Park to allow Northwestern Energy to install new power line with conduit.
