PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
W.O. 19-10: Hillcrest Road Water Main is a project to install a new water main up Hillcrest from Blue Creek Rd. to serve the new Solid Waste Transfer Facility. Bids were opened on April 30th. There were seven bids received and White's Civil Contracting submitted the lowest responsible bid. The project was advertised on April 12th, 19th, and 26th in the Yellowstone County News and on the City's website.
ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
The Council may:
- Award W.O. 19-10: Hillcrest Road Water Main, to White's Civil Contracting, in the amount of $357,310.00; or
- Do not award a contract and reject all bids. If this project is not awarded, the water will not be available for the Solid Waste Transfer Facility.
FINANCIAL IMPACT

The funding for the project was budgeted in FY19 with water funds. The project was included in the budget as the Jellison Road Waterline, but the name was changed when it was determined that Hillcrest was a better location.
