PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
Evidence Facility expansion requires the purchase of additional components for the existing CCTV Security System. TelNet Systems was awarded the original camera system contract via a request for proposals (RFP) on 6/27/2016 for the existing evidence facility. The additional new components must be compatible with existing equipment installed under the RFP from June 2016.
The expanded Camera system will be used to monitor the interior and exterior of the evidence building for security purposes and internal controls.

ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
City Council may:
- Approve the purchase of the compatible CCTV camera system installation and components from TelNet Systems in the amount of $159,144.92, or;
- Disapprove the purchase of compatible CCTV camera system installation and components from TelNet Systems in the amount of $159,144.92 and provide additional guidance to staff.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
This project has been budgeted for in the public safety fund.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council approve the purchase and installation of compatible CCTV camera system components from TelNet Systems in the amount of $159,144.92.
