PROBLEM/ISSUE STATEMENT
On March 2, 2020 the City of Billings Fire Department received a letter and a check in the amount of $2,500.00 from ExxonMobil Pipeline Company through their Corporate Citizenship, Public & Government Affairs Department for the purpose of providing financial support to Billings Fire Department's emergency response capabilities.
ALTERNATIVES ANALYZED
City Council may approve or disapprove accepting the $2,500 donation from ExxonMobil Pipeline Company for the purchase of fire / rescue equipment and supplies.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds can be used to purchase fire and rescue equipment and supplies that we would not have been able to purchase without the donation from ExxonMobil Pipeline Company.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends accepting the $2,500 donation from ExxonMobil Pipeline Company for the purchase of fire/rescue equipment and supplies.
