RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council hold a public hearing and approve the resolution setting the annual RMD No. 6 assessment.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
This district is for maintaining a secondary fire access road in the Briarwood Subdivision. The fee will remain the same for FY 21 as it was for FY 20.
ALTERNATIVES
City Council may:
- Approve, or;
- Disapprove If Council does not approve the resolution, the district will not collect enough money to maintain the Briarwood Emergency Access Road and this would create a conflict with the Subdivision Improvement Agreement and the Fire Code.
FISCAL EFFECTS
The total assessment of $2,819 (51 properties at $55.28) reflects the cost of providing maintenance to meet Fire Code requirements.
