RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council accept the donation from Mr. William Morse.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
Public Works wishes to accept a donation in excess of $500. City Council policy requires that any donation of more than $500 must be approved by the City Council.
Mr. William Morse wishes to donate $1000 to assist people that are having difficulty paying their water bills.

ALTERNATIVES
City Council may:
- Accept the donation in the amount of $1,000 to Public Works;
- Not accept the donation in the amount of $1000 to Public Works.
FISCAL EFFECTS
There is no financial impact to the Water, Sewer, or Solid Waste funds by accepting the donation. The donation will be used to assist residential customers that need help paying their utility bill.
