RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council approve this ordinance on second reading, adding recently annexed property to Ward III.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
Torgerson's Real Estate Holdings, LLC. submitted a petition to annex land using the provisions of Section 7-2-4600, MCA. The property is located south of the South Frontage Road. The property is legally described as Fractions of Government Lots 2 and 3, Section 15, T.1S., R.26E., P.M.M., Yellowstone County, Montana, being unplatted. Said tract of land containing an area of 35.94 acres more or less.
Upon Council approval, this annexation requires a change in the boundaries of Ward III. Two readings are required for this action. Council approved the ordinance on first reading July 12, 2021, along with a public hearing, and the second reading is scheduled for tonight, July 26, 2021.

City Council may:
- Approve adding the subject property to Ward III, or;
- Disapprove adding the subject property to Ward III.
