RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council approve the ordinance on second reading. The City Council held a public hearing and approved first reading on August 23rd, 2021.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
CPP LLC, ARB Investments, LLC and GSB Holdings LLC (all 1/3 interest) submitted a petition to annex land using the provisions of Section 7-2-4600, MCA. The property is located along Calhoun Lane. Tracts A-1 and A-2, Amended Tract A Certificate Of Survey No. 775, recorded July 25, 1985, under Document No. 1359096, on file and of record in the Records of Yellowstone County and contains 1.316 gross and net acres and is zoned CMU1. Upon Council approval, this annexation requires a change in the boundaries of Ward III. Two readings are required for this action. The first reading and public hearing was held August 23rd and approved by City Council.
ALTERNATIVES
City Council may:
- City Council may: Approve adding the subject property to Ward III; or,
- Not Approve. Disapproval will not modify the boundary of Ward III and will create a problem where property inside the City Limits is not within a City Ward.

This item has no impact on the Planning Division Budget.
