RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council approve Change Order No.1 for WO 22-08: Central Park Tennis Court, to the Good Earth Works Co., Inc in the amount of $130,800.00.
BACKGROUND (Consistency with Adopted Plans and Policies, if applicable)
During the initial bid opening of WO 22-08: Central Park Tennis Court on August 16th, 2022, funding was available to award the base bid only. After receipt of the bid, Parks and Recreation applied for additional Land Water Conservation (LWCF) Grant money to cover Bid Additive Alternates #2: Lighting for $130,000 and #3: Fencing Sleeves. This additional grant money was not available at the time of the Council Meeting on 9/12/22, where the base bid for the Central Park Tennis court was awarded. Since this time, additional LWCF Grant Money has been obtained to fund Additive Alternates #2 and #3 in full.
ALTERNATIVES
City Council may:
- Approve Change Order No.1 (which is fully funded by additional LWCF Grant Money); or,
- Not Approve Change Order No.1 and the Central Park Tennis Court Lighting and Fencing Sleeves will not be included with the project.

The W.O.22-08 change in contract price for Change Order No.1 is as follows:
