APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES: The Committee will consider approval of the
DECEMBER 16, 2014 minutes. The January 20, 2015 and the February 17, 2015, and March 24, 2015 Policy Coordinating Meetings were canceled due to a lack of agenda items.

MOTION. HIGHWAY 3 CORRIDOR STUDY, LORA MATTOX, TRANSPORTATION PLANNER: The Highway 3 Corridor Study is a planning study that evaluates the challenges of providing safe access for motorized and non-motorized transportation along the Highway 3 corridor in Billings and Yellowstone County. The study area is an approximately 5 mile corridor between the N. 27
th Street and Highway 3 intersection and the Apache Trail and Highway 3 intersection.

MOTION. COMMUNITY TRANSPORTATION SAFETY GRANT, LORA MATTOX, TRANSPORTATION PLANNER
The Community Transportation Safety Grant application to the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT). is intended to assist the community in establishing a Community Transportation Safety plan tailored to the transportation safety needs in Billings and Yellowstone County. The plan will be prepared in collaboration with other agencies and local jurisdictions with roles in transportation safety. Safety plans are data driven, address transportation safety with the 4E approach (Education, Enforcement, Engineering and Emergency Medical Services), focus on community specific safety issues, and are community led with MDT support.
