Uphold or amend the Hearing Officer's recommended decision for parcel 105-20-009 U, Lusignan Revocable Trust.
Background:
Ms. Lusignan applied for Ag status, believing that the change in statutes allowed property used for equine rescue to be elegible. The Assessor denied the application saying that the property did not meet the statutary requirements. After the hearing, Judge Riley recommended that the property be given ag status, interpreting the law differently that the Assessor. The Assessor has appealed the recommended decision to the BOE.
