Discuss the potential impacts that result from placing time frames upon assurance agreements, and if those time frames are appropriate.
Background:
This work session should be a discussion amongst the Board regarding requests for extension of assurance agreements, a contract between the Board of Supervisors and the Developer of a subdivision plat for required improvements prior to lot sale. This discussion should include both positive and negative implications involved with the use of Assurance Agreements, including the abandonment process for final plats.
