Approve the Hearing Officer's uncontested recommended decisions for Board of Equalization Hearings from September 12, 19, and 26, 2013.
Background:
If property owners are not satisfied with the Hearing Officer's recommended decision, they must contest the decision by October 4, 2013. Unless contested the Hearing Officer's recommended decisions will be approved by the Board of Equalization.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send notification letters to property owners with copies to the Assessor and Treasurer.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
All BOE decisions must be made by October 15, 2013 by state statute.
