Approve the Library Services Technology Act (LSTA) Grant application for the Sunsites Community Library.
Background:
FUNDS WILL BE USED TO PURCHASE 6 E-READERS, 6 MP3 PLAYERS, 6 LAPTOP COMPUTERS, TWO WIRELESS PRINTERS AND 3 INK CARTRIDGES; SERVICES OF A TRAINER TO TEACH PATRONS HOW TO USE THE EQUIPMENT; TRAVEL TO PHOENIX FOR THE GRANT AWARD CEREMONY; GIFT CARDS FOR PATRONS TO BUY E-BOOKS; AND A CABINET TO STORE THE EQUIPMENT. THE GRANT TOTAL IS $3,120.00. THERE IS NO MONETARY MATCH REQUIRED.
