Agenda Item Text:
Approve a new position in the County Attorney Civil Division for either a Paralegal III or Legal Secretary III in order to extend the services of this division.
Background:
As explained in a related agenda item (Approve IGA for Legal Services for the City of Bisbee), this position will allow the County Attorney Civil Division to provide civil legal services to Bisbee. It will be funded by a $60,000 contribution from the City, with no impact to the General Fund. If approved, we will advertise for both positions but hire for only one position, which will depend on the most qualified candidate. The job descriptions are attached.
