Approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) among the Cochise County Flood Control District, City of Sierra Vista, Hereford Natural Resource Conservation District (NRCD) and The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to create a partnership to facilitate and implement sound water resource management and conservation strategies for the Sierra Vista Subwatershed.
Background:
The entities involved want to ensure the best decisions are made regarding the Sierra Vista Subwatershed, while keeping in mind all of the entities interests.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Route the MOU and get signatures from all entities involved.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Cochise County will not be part of the partnership.
