Approve the reappointment of Tom Borer, Nathan Watkins and Jim Martzke to the Planning and Zoning Commission, with terms effective to December 31, 2021.
Background:
The Planning & Zoning Commission consists of nine members, three from each District, appointed by the County Supervisor for each District, residing within the District. Members of the Planning & Zoning Commission serve staggered four-year terms. One member from each District will expire on December 31, 2017. Mr. Tom Borer from District 1, Nathan Watkins, District 2 and Mr. Jim Martzke from District 3 have agreed to serve new terms ending on December 31, 2021.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send appointment letters and administer the oath of office to Mr. Borer, Mr. Watkins and Mr. Martzke as stated below in BOS Staff follow-up.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
There will be vacancies on the Planning & Zoning Commission from District 1, District 2 and District 3.
