Sitting as the Cochise County Board of Equalization, the Board of Supervisors will uphold or amend the Assessor's decision for the Taxpayer Notice of Claim for parcel numbers 105-16-030 and 208-84-003E.
Background:
SSVEC filed a Taxpayer Notice of Claim. Ted Offutt, Chief Appraiser, disputed the claim of error. SSVEC then filed a petition for Review of Taxpayer Notice of Claim with the Board of Equalization within the allotted 90 days. The Board is required by statute to hear the case and render a decision within 30 days.
The Petition was postmarked on January 26, 2018. The Board must make a decision by February 26, 2018.
