Approve the Board of Equalization Hearing Officer's recommended decisions for Notice of Value appeal hearings held on September 27, 2018.
Background:
Appellants had until October 5, 2018 to appeal the Hearing Officer's recommended decisions for all Notice of Value hearings. As there were no challenges to the Hearing Officer's recommended decisions from either the Assessor or the appellants for the attached exhibit, the recommended decisions will be adopted by the Board of Supervisors acting as the Cochise County Board of Equalization.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send final letters to all of the appellants.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
By statute, all Petitions for Review of Notice of Value must be completed by October 15, 2018. Should the Board fail to do this, Cochise County will be out of compliance.
