Discussion, presentation, and possible direction regarding the Elfrida Library building.
Background:
The Elfrida Library has operated at 10552 N. Hwy. 191 since 2003, in a building currently owned by the Elfrida Citizens Alliance (ECA). The ECA would like to donate the library building to Cochise County, and donate the adjacent Community Center to the Elfrida Fire District. At a work session on March 19, the Board approved having the parcel surveyed and moving ahead with preliminary research for improvements to the library building. The Library Director would like to share a progress update, and seek input from the Board of Supervisors before moving ahead.
