Approve a grant agreement with the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, in the amount of $25,000, for the period September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2020.
Background:
The Cochise County Library District has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, to improve library STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) programs and collections, and improve services for children. The grant period runs from September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The Library Director will submit the grant agreement to the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The Library District will not receive funds.
