Approve the Annual Joint Funding Agreement No. 20ZFJFA2600 in the amount of $16,210 for the operation and maintenance of the stream gages for the period October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020.
Background:
This request is to help fund an annual program that the County has supported financially for a number of years. The request is for $16,210 from Cochise County. U.S. Geological Survey/Bureau of Land Management contributions for this agreement are $22,390 for a combined total of $38,600. These funds help support the work of USGS personnel in the operation and maintenance of streamflow-gaging stations to produce stage/discharge records at the San Pedro River near Charleston and the Babocamari River near Tombstone.

Important work for surface water gaging network and collection of hydrologic data will not be accomplished.
