Approve Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between The Nature Conservancy, Cochise County, and the City of Sierra Vista, for a Feasibility Recharge Facility on the 1,811-acres Riverstone property, in the amount of $125,000, effective October 1, 2020 through May 1, 2021.
Background:
The parties have identified the 1,811-acre Riverstone property owned by the County as a possible location for a recharge facility, and have identified the water source to be recharged as treated effluent conveyed from the City’s Environmental Operations Park wastewater treatment facility.

Funding cost for City of Sierra Vista Recharge Feasibility Study will not be funded by $125,000 as a result of not approving MOU.
