Approve inter-fund transfer of $543,000 from fund 570 to fund 100 for Sheriff's Office overtime and comp time funding requests.
Background:
In FY-19 the BOS approved the current comp time and holiday time policy. This increased expenses for the Sheriff's Office, and was requested as a funding request in the FY-21 budget. The Sheriff's Office has the funds in Fund 570 to meet this need. Fund 570 was used to collected reimbursement for law enforcement services provide by the Sheriff's Office, from the State of Arizona. These funds are reimbursement monies for services provided, and not special revenue. For FY-21, this inter-fund transfer will move the $534,000 from Fund 570 to Fund 100, Sheriff's Office to meet this need.

Finance will execute inter-fund transfer.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Comp time and OT will not be funded, projecting Sheriff's Office will go over budget at the end of FY-21.
