Approve renewal of right-of-way Lease No. 18-105186-00 for service road access to the San Bernardino radio tower between Cochise County and the Arizona State Land Department, effective August 31, 2020 through August 30, 2030.
Background:
Cochise County maintains a right of way agreement with the Arizona Land Lease Department for service road access to the San Bernardino radio tower site. This agenda item is a standard 10-year renewal of the agreement.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Upon approval and signature of both original documents, the documents will be submitted to the Arizona State Land Department along with a proof of insurance certificate.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If not approved, the County will lose road access to the San Bernardino radio tower and it will affect our radio coverage County Wide.
