Agenda Item Text:
Accept the County Engineer’s recommendation and set a public hearing for December 15, 2020 to alter the declared width of Davis Road, an established County Highway, from 100 feet to 200 feet.
Background:
In a previously Board approved action Cochise County entered into an Agreement with Arizona Department of Transportation to acquire right-of-way and make improvements to Davis Road. Due to the nature of these improvements it is necessary to increase the declared width of Davis Road from 100 feet to 200 feet.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Upon acceptance of the County Engineer's recommendation, a public hearing will be scheduled and advertised as required by statute.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
That portion of Davis Road will not be established as a declared County Highway.
