[Item tabled from the January 26, 2021 meeting] Table to the March 9, 2021, Regular Board Meeting, at the request of Arizona Public Service Company (APS), the Public Hearing and possible adoption of Resolution 21-01 granting an Electricity Services Franchise to APS.
Background:
APS has applied for a franchise renewal in all of Cochise County. The $500.00 franchise fee has been paid. The Notice of Public Hearing was published three times as required by statute. To date, there have been no letters or phone calls either for or against granting the franchise.
At the January 26, 2021 Board Meeting, the Public Hearing was tabled to the February 9, 2021 Board Meeting at the request of APS.
APS has requested that the Public Hearing and consideration of the franchise be continued to the March 9, 2021 Regular Meeting.
