Docket SU-20-19 (MM Birch) - Special Use Authorization to construct a medical marijuana cultivation and infusion facility. The proposal includes approximately 200 acres of outdoor grow, 700,000 square feet of new greenhouses, 170,000 square feet of processing, and a 6,000 square foot office.

Background:
The Application was submitted November 30, 2021 and was originally scheduled for Planning Commission consideration January 13, 2021. The applicant also requested tabling the item from the February, March and now the April Planning and Zoning Commission meetings.
The reason for the multiple requests to continue the item was to allow the applicant to look into a different site. That location was approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission March 10, 2021. However, two appeals have been filed on the approval. The applicant and staff is requesting one final extension to allow the appeals to be heard by the Board of Supervisors.
