Approve an application for the Fiscal Year 2021-22 State Grants-In-Aid, in the amount of $25,000, effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022, for the purpose of enhancing library services for the public.
Background:
Cochise County has been awarded $25,000 for State Grants-In-Aid for FY 2021-2022. The Library District uses State Aid to supplement budgeted items: travel and training, books and library materials, professional services and supplies. This is an annual award which the Library District has received in past years.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The Library Director will submit an online application to receive the State Grants-In-Aid funds.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The Library District will not receive funds.

There is no grant agreement to sign, but Finance requires a formal approval to accept the funds when they arrive.
