Adopt Resolution 21-21, to accept the County Engineer's recommendation and alter the declared width of Moson Road, an established County Highway.
Background:
Cochise County Engineering recently presented to the Board of Supervisors their 5 Year Plan which included the improvement of Moson Road. Due to the nature of the improvements, it is necessary to widen the declared width of this portion of Moson Road to 100 feet and to authorize the acquisition of right-of-way. In accordance with statute, staff has given notice of this public hearing for wo weeks in the designated newspaper.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If the recommendation is approved, no further board action is required.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
That portion of Moson Road will remain a County Highway however, right-of-way will not be acquired and improvements to Moson Road will not commence.
