Approve the appointments of Mr. Larry Saunders, term of office January 4, 2022 through December 31, 2024, and Mr. Jim Martzke, term of office January 4, 2022 through December 31, 2025, to the Planning & Zoning Commission, representing District 3.
Background:
The Planning & Zoning Commission consists of nine members, three from each District. Each member is nominated by the County Supervisor for that District, each residing within the District. Members of the Planning & Zoning Commission serve staggered four-year terms.
Mr. Larry Saunders has agreed to serve on the Planning & Zoning Commission to finish the four-year term of the vacated seat created by the resignation of Gary Brachula.
Mr. Jim Martzke has agreed to serve on the Planning & Zoning Commission for another four-year term; Mr. Martzke was first appointed to the County Planning Commission in 1973.
