Supervisor Judd has submitted for approval. Sunsites Community Center is publicly owned by Sunsites Community Center, Inc., It is located at 1216 Treasure Rd and is managed by a citizen board. Including Joan Carlson, Joan Brown, and Lorretta Vanderwerlin who have all been active in this request. There are community activities scheduled there most hours of the day 7 days a week. Many of these are free to the public. Many government meetings have been held here, free of charge, and it is our Voting Site in this region. This request is for Parking Lot Chip Seal as the current lot was chip sealed by the county many years ago and is now coming up and a tripping danger for elderly citizens. There are also parking blocks that need to be replaced and are included in the price. Sunsites Community Center, Inc is providing $5,000 to the county for this project and the remaining cost in this project is $16,847.
