Approve the Revised Annual Joint Funding Agreement No. 22ZFJFA00080100 between the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and Cochise County in the amount of $77,980 for the period of October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022, to conduct hydrologic investigations and data collection.
Background:
This request is to help fund an annual program that the County has supported financially for a number of years. The original request was approved in October 2021 in the amount of $94,305.However, the agreement has been reduced to $77,980, saving the County $16,325. These funds help support the work of USGS personnel in the hydrologic monitoring in the Sierra Vista Subwatershed of the Upper San Pedro Basin.

Important work for hydrological monitoring in the Sierra Vista Subwatershed will not be accomplished.
