Agenda Item Text:

Adopt Resolution 23-13 to approve AZ034, Streamlined Annual and Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plans, for Fiscal Year 2023.

Background:

Each year, the Housing Authority submits Plans to HUD as policies and guides for the Housing Choice Voucher Program due 75 days prior to the June 30 fiscal year-end.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

If approved, the Housing Authority will submit the Plans by the due date of April 2023 to HUD.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

If the Plans are not approved, the Housing Authority risks being delinquent on a HUD requirement.

In addition to the Resolution, the Chairperson of the Board will need to sign form HUD- 50077-SL and form HUD-50077-ST-HCV-HP.  Please email and send to Anita Baca, Housing Director.
