Adopt Zoning Ordinance 23-10 to rezone parcel 203-37-023A from R-36 (Residential, one dwelling per 36,000 square feet) to RU-2 (Rural, one dwelling per 2 acres), pursuant to the application of Mr. Anthony Peters and Ms. Larissa Peters.
Background:
The applicant is requesting to amend the zoning of their parcel from R-36 to RU-2. The applicant is requesting the amendment to allow for the future application of a Special Use Permit for guest lodging. A downzoning will not have any negative impacts on the surrounding properties.
At their meeting on May 10, 2023, the Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended forwarding the rezoning request to the Board for approval.
