Approve Amendment 1 to Professional Service Agreements (PSA) and Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), associated with Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) CTR055990-A1, COVID-19 Health Disparities, approved by the Board of Supervisors on March 14, 2023, to extend the terms of the PSAs and MOUs through May 30, 2024.

Background:

IGA CTR055990-A1 extends the end date on the services agreements listed below to May 30, 2024.
  1. PSA # 22-07-HEA-01-A1 The Arizona Board of Regents on behalf of the University of Arizona, Arizona Prevention Research Center in the amount of $226,319;
  2. PSA # 22-07-HEA-01-A -A1 Arizona Community Health Workers Association, Inc. in the Amount of $750,000;
  3. PSA # 22-07-HEA-01-B-A1 Chiricahua Community Health Centers, Inc. in the Amount of $458,000;
  4. PSA # 22-07-HEA-01-D-A1 Pinal Hispanic Council in the Amount of $277,000;
  5. PSA # 22-07-HEA-01-E-A1 Southeast Arizona Area Health Education Center in the Amount of $198,620;
  6. PSA # 22-07-HEA-01-F-A1 Winchester Heights Health Organization in the Amount of $335,000.
  7. PSA # 22-07-HEA-01-G-A1 Arizona Regional Economic Development Foundation in the Amount of $234,664;
  8. Memorandum of Understanding between The Good Neighbor Alliance and Cochise County and Cochise Health and Services, for housing one community health worker,
  9. Memorandum of Understanding between Bisbee Coalition for the Homeless and Cochise Health and Services, for housing one community health worker.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Signed Amendments will be sent to the subcontractors for signature after BOS approval is granted.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

CCHSS will not be able to fulfill the requirements of the agreement between Cochise County and Arizona Department of Health Services as outlined in CTR055990.
