Adopt Jail District Resolution 23-02, levying the Cochise County Jail District Excise Tax.
Background:
Pursuant to A.R.S. § 48-4022, the Board of Directors of the Cochise County Jail District must pass a resolution to levy the voter-approved excise tax. Under the same statute, the excise tax would become effective January 1, 2024.

Record Resolution and provide official notification of adoption to the Arizona Department of Revenue.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The Cochise County Jail District excise tax would not go into effect January 1, 2024.
