[Item tabled from the August 8, 2023 Regular Board of Supervisors Meeting] Approve Contract 23-14-REC-01 with Authentix, LLC and Pro Vote Solutions for Ballot Fraud Countermeasures, at costs noted in the attached pricing proposals, effective July 11, 2023.

Background:

The Procurement Department issued Request for Proposal 23-14-REC-01 with a submission deadline of May 11, 2023. Two vendors submitted proposals. Both vendors, Authentix, LLC and Pro Vote Solutions have the required experience and capability to provide the materials and services that is requested in the Request for Proposal.

Item tabled at 07/11/23 BOS regular meeting to seek documentation of grant extension.  No additional documents submitted for 7/25/23 BOS regular meeting.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Issue Contract and Purchase Order to Authentix, LLC and Pro Vote Solutions.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

Cochise County will not have Ballot Fraud Countermeasures in place prior to the next election.
