A Special Use Authorization request for a commercial plant nursery on APN 123-08-003S. The subject parcel consists of 5.8 acres and is located on the east side of Ocotillo Road, approximately 2/3 mile north of Interstate 10 between Four Feathers Lane and Aviation Drive.
Background:
The County received a special use request from Diamond II Bar Group, LLC, for a commercial plant nursery on APN 123-08-003S, which totals about 5.8 acres. Two acres of the site are proposed for plant nursery use. Future improvements include office trailer, greenhouses, storage buildings, and shade structures. Proposed operating hours are 8:00am through 5:00pm, Monday through Saturday, with two on-site employees and an estimated 8-12 vehicle trips per day.
