Agenda Item Text:

Approve Uniform Video Service License Agreement for Allo Arizona, LLC, effective December 12, 2023 through December 12, 2033.

Background:

Arizona SB 2229, passed into law in 2018, declared Video Service Providers a matter of statewide concern.  The law mandated local authorities to adopt an Ordinance and uniform licensing form for Video Service Providers.  On March 10, 2020, the Cochise County Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance 050-20 establishing that Ordinance.

Allo Arizona, LLC is a new Video Service Provider and has made an application for a Uniform Video Services License Agreement.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Send Allo Arizona, LLC a copy of the recorded agreement.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

The County will be out of compliance with state law, which requires licensing to be uniform statewide.

To BOS Staff: Document Disposition/Follow-Up:

Have the Board Chair sign two originals of the Uniform Video Services License Agreement and give to the Clerk of the Board and record the document with the County Recorder.  Send a copy of the recorded document to Paul Correa in the County Attorney’s Office.
