Approve Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) CTR068849 Sexually Transmitted Infection Investigations (STI) between the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and Cochise County Health and Social Services (CHSS) in the amount of $61,161, from January 1, 2024, through June 30, 2028.
Background:
In addition to the reporting, prevention and control measures stated in the Arizona Administrative Code, Title 9, Chapter 6, Articles 1 through 11, CCHSS will continue to build upon the current infrastructure that provides surveillance, epidemiology, disease investigation, prevention, policy and communication to expand and identify new interventions that include: screening and treatment (chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV), partner services, outreach, community collaborations, linkage to care, and health promotions that address the target populations and geographical areas of high prevalence in Cochise County.
