R-24-01 (Agritourism). County staff initiated change to the Cochise County Zoning Regulations Articles 2.03, 2.15, 2.18, 2.42, 2.48 in support of agritourism in Cochise County.
Background:
Agricultural tourism, or agritourism, involves visitors participating in activities related to rural life and agriculture. It aims to promote local farming, support rural economies, and offer educational and recreational experiences. Agritourism benefits farmers by generating additional income and enhances the understanding of agriculture among tourists while encouraging tourism in rural areas.
