Adopt Resolution 24-32 for authorization to submit a grant application and enter into an agreement for Home Investment Partnership Program to fund housing repairs for Cochise County income-qualified residents.
Background:
Cochise County has developed a housing repair program that aids income-qualified Cochise County residents in obtaining needed housing repairs. This grant will allow the County to continue to provide these services to its residents.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If this request is approved, the Development Services Department will submit a Home Investment Partnership Program application to the Arizona Department of Housing.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If this request is not approved, the HOME grant application will not be submitted and Cochise County income-qualified residents will not be able to receive needed housing repairs through Cochise County's housing repair program.
