Discussion and Overview of Planning & Zoning Commission Responsibilities.
Background:
The Board of Supervisors will hold a joint work session with the Cochise County Planning & Zoning Commission to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Commission’s role, responsibilities, and decision-making processes. Planning staff will provide a PowerPoint presentation that provides an overview of the commission’s composition, core responsibilities, and typical processes. The discussion will also include information about appeals and the commission’s advisory functions. The intent of the discussion is to facilitate collaboration between the Board and the Commission on land use policies and regulatory processes within the County. No formal action will be taken.
