Adopt the Tentative Budget of the Flood Control District for fiscal year 2025-2026 in the amount of $9,948,414.
Background:
Annual Tentative Budget adoption. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-17101, the budget must be approved by the Board of Supervisors on or before the third Monday in July (July 15, 2025 this year). Following the Board's approval of a tentative budget, it must be published--together with a notice of Public Hearing on the budget once a week for two consecutive weeks in the official county newspaper. (Note: A Truth in Taxation Notice is required this year.)
The Public Hearing on the budget will be held at the Board of Supervisors Hearing Room on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at which time the final budget will be adopted.

Publish the tentaive budget, Truth in Taxation Notice, and notice of public hearing pursuant to the requirements set forth in the statutes.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Cochise County must adopt a Final Budget no later than the third Monday in July.
