Adopt Resolution 25-18 to adopt the Final County Budget for fiscal year 2025-2026 in the amount of $293,120,335 (this amount is composed of $110,634,585 in General Fund and $182,485,750 in Special Revenue funds) and approve the Funding Requests as set forth in the attached exhibit.

Background:

By Statute the adoption of the final County budget must be completed not less than two weeks prior to the fixing of tax rates and levies, which must be accomplished by the third Monday in August.

This sets the budget for FY 25-26 by General Fund and various special revenue funds, as per the attached budget spreadsheets.

Following approval of the tentative budget on June 10, 2025, the tentative budget was published as required by law.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

Cochise County will be out of compliance with State Statutes and would have no budget with which to work.
