Approve transfer from the County Capital Projects Fund contingency to the Facilities Department for roofing at 1415 W Melody Lane, Bldg A in Bisbee, in the amount of $235,528.20.

Background:

The roof at Melody Lane, Bldg A is in very poor shape. It is the Facilities Management Department's recommendation to replace the roof as it is beyond patchwork repair. 

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Move funds from contingency, issue a purchase order to Progressive Roofing, and begin scheduling the work. 

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

The roof would continue to deteriorate, possibly leaving the inside of the building and equipment vulnerable to damage.

No follow-up from the BOS staff is needed.
