Agenda Item Text:
Approve Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Cochise County Health & Social Services and Arizona Department of Health Services for Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Healthy Arizona Families, in the amount of $112,520, effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2030.
Background:
CCHSS Clinical Services has been providing Maternal and Child Health services via Title V programming in coordination with ADHS for the past 5 years to strengthen the family and community by promoting and improving the health status of women, infants, children, and adolescents.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Will continue to implement evidence-based strategies to enhance preventive and primary care for children, adolescents, infants and pregnant women.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If not approved, CCHSS will not be able to maintain supportive and preventive service provision for at-risk populations throughout Cochise County, including infants and pregnant women.
